Teachers: 5 Steps to Having the Best Parents EVER!!!

Let’s be honest. I’ve heard so many teachers say that they ABSOLUTELY LOVE teaching in the classroom – being with kids is JOY. However, “dealing” with parents can sometimes be really tough. I’ve had years when I was always worried that something else was wrong when I would see my voice message light flashing. I’ve had years when parents would come into my class and NEVER LEAVE sometimes making it difficult to establish healthy classroom routines.

BUT most years, I LOVE MY PARENTS (the parents of my students that is). I have learned to determine and communicate what level of parental involvement and communication is professional and healthy for my classroom. Take a look at these 5 steps.
